Care Groups
The Mission of the Beltline Care Group Ministry is to practice the second great commandment of loving our brother as much as ourselves as instructed by Jesus to his disciples in Matthew 22. We implement the work of this ministry by separating the membership into small groups that meet, enjoy a meal, and fellowship with one another on a monthly basis in homes or other preferred meeting locations. We believe that the closeness and bonding that is developed within each of the groups will greatly diminish the chances of losing our fellow Christians due to situations in life such as illness or discouragement which can lead to irregular attendance and becomes magnified until the coals of fire have grown cold.
Daughters of Ruth
“Daughters of Ruth” is an opportunity for ladies to serve by giving special attention to shut-in members of the congregation. The group meets once a month to prepare care packages and visit with members who are no longer able to attend services. The shut-ins look forward to these visits, and the ladies are blessed by the wisdom of these members.
